Pudgy's Fine Cookies to offer the first 50 cookies for free during Meyerland grand opening

Pudgy's Fine Cookies will finally open its doors to the Meyerland community with a grand opening celebration Oct. 25.

What is it?

Pudgy's Fine Cookies is a local cookie shop that serves large, thick gourmet cookies in a variety of creative flavors, from the original chocolate chip to macadamia and matcha.

Customers can order cookies in singles or in packs of four to 12. Popular flavors include Wild Campfire, Big Oreo, Bonanza Brulee and Red Velvet. The cookie shop also sells soft drinks and T-shirts.

The celebration

The Meyerland location, the second for the brand, will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening event Oct. 25.

Per details on the shop's social media, the event, held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., will include giving away free cookies to the first 50 customers and a free tote to the first 25 residents who make a purchase. The event will also include a ribbon-cutting, ice cream, a lion dance performance and a live DJ.
