The new retail space is located near the Financial Center on the first floor of the Galleria mall, across from clothing brand Skims and next to apparel company Alo Yoga.
A long time coming
Cosby, who is a native Houstonian and the marketing and sales component for Purple, said it "means everything" to him to bring the brand back to where he started building it from.

"I started my part of the business out of my little apartment in Montrose, and I was literally keeping the samples in a 600-square-foot storage unit and shipping stuff from there—taking suitcases to hotels when rappers and athletes and entertainers would come to town," Cosby said.
While Lo was in Vancouver, Canada making the clothing pieces, Cosby said he was selling the idea of Purple to companies like Saks Fifth, Neiman Marcus and Webster, he said.

"[I did my] thing in Houston, [they did their] thing in Vancouver, and we built this brand together," he said. "It's kind of a full circle moment for me."
