A portion of Main Street at Hwy. 146 in Seabrook will be closed starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 5. The road will not reopen until 9 a.m. Nov. 12, according to a www.sh146.com news release.

The Texas Department of Transportation will close this portion to demolish the existing pavement and repave the street as part of the Hwy. 146 widening project.

Motorists traveling on NASA Parkway who want to access Main Street will have to detour by turning north onto Hwy. 146, east onto East Meyer Avenue and south onto Todville Road until reaching Main Street. Alternatively, vehicles traveling from farther west on NASA Parkway can turn north on Repsdorph Road, east at the roundabout onto East Meyer, and then follow signs to Todville and eventually Main, according to the release.

Motorists traveling along Hwy. 146 who want to access Main can turn east on East Meyer and then south on Todville until reaching Main.

Finally, those traveling on Main who want to reach Hwy. 146 can head east on Main, turn north onto Todville and then west on East Meyer until reaching Hwy. 146.
