Relocations

The McDonald’s famous for the astronaut statue on its roof, located at 1421 NASA Parkway, Houston, closed over the summer to allow for the opening of a new nearby location at 1316 E. NASA Parkway. In September, the Bay Area Houston Advanced Technology Consortium, or BayTech, announced the Texas Governor’s Office had awarded BayTech a $324,000 grant. The grant offers certified manufacturing technician training to eligible unemployed higher school graduates and others as aerospace composite and electrical technicians, according to a BayTech press release.
