The Toasted Yolk Cafe plans to open in December in League City's Pinnacle Park at 2535 S. Gulf Freeway, League City, at the former site of Olympia Grill, which closed in March 2019.
The Toasted Yolk is a franchise with 14 Houston-area locations. The restaurant specializes in breakfast, brunch and lunch items and serves coffee, mimosas, beer and more.
According to Brockway Commercial's James Brockway, who brokered the deal, Toasted Yolk will take over about 6,100 square feet of the 10,000-square-foot building that were vacated after Olympia Grill closed after only four months of operations. Brockway said he has high hopes for other sites in Pinnacle Park, which features other restaurants, including Abuelos, Salata, Kabuki Grill, Black Bear Diner and Coco Crepes and Little Bella Mia.
"We are currently working on several leases and hope to have more announcements in the near future. In spite of COVID, we are seeing leasing activity, and with Pinnacle Park being one of the finest mixed-use centers in the region, a lot of tenant interest is focused there," Brockway said in a news release.
