The city of Seabrook is holding a May 18 ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a new fire training tower.
The backstory
More than 20 years ago, the manufacturer American Acryl L.P. donated roughly 13 acres on Red Bluff Road to the city to support public safety and training facilities.
Now, as part of an effort to enhance emergency responses and support regional trainings, Seabrook is unveiling a new fire training tower.
The details
The initiative is expected to promote long‑term public safety in the area and help advance the city’s Insurance Services Office, or ISO, rating, which measures a community's fire protection capability, according to a note on the city’s website.
To celebrate the milestone, city officials and attendees can observe live demonstrations, including a rope rescue demonstration from Firefighter Andy Castiglione using the tower's new anchor system.
