League City City Council will consider approving a $2.3 million food service contract for The Ballpark at League City and a new after-school program during its June 24 meeting, according to the city documents.
The overview
The $2.3 million contract would support food supply services for the city-operated ballpark, which hosts events and recreational activities for residents throughout the year. The vendors for the project include Sysco, Gordon Food and Ben E. Keith, according to city documents.
Also on the agenda is a resolution to launch a city-run after-school program that would launch in August. The program would include funding for the remainder of the current fiscal year and the additional part-time camp counselor positions to run it.
