Five people have filed to run for positions in the Kemah city government, while eleven individuals are seeking to run for offices in the Seabrook city government in May’s election, following the last day to file Feb. 14.

The filing period for the May 3 general election in both Kemah and Seabrook ran from Jan. 15-Feb. 14. In Kemah, the positions up for election in May are:

Matt Wiggins also applied to run for mayor but withdrew his application.
