A Gold Star Affiliate is the highest status any community can achieve, according to an April 25 news release from the city.
The overview
KTB affiliates have engaged over 32,000 volunteers to clean up waste and recyclables from Texas roadways, trails and waterways in over 500 cleanups in 2023. Seabrook implemented programs to clean up litter, reduce and recycle waste, and educate the community, according to the news release.
Seabrook will be formally recognized for this achievement at the KTB conference in June, according to the news release.
