The Bay Area saw growth in some key areas in the past five years, including in League City, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.

League City saw its population increase by more than 15% from 2017 to 2022, according to the data. Seabrook saw an increase as well, though at a lower rate. Clear Lake Shores, meanwhile, saw a slight population decline. The city has the lowest population of the group as well.

In the 2021 data, League City saw a similar increase of a little less than 18% compared to 2016, while Seabrook increased at a rate of 3.44%, Community Impact previously reported. Clear Lake Shores, meanwhile, saw a decline of more than 20% from 2016 to 2021.
