Boo on the Boardwalk
Kemah Boardwalk hosts a series of spooky activities and attractions every weekend in October, including a haunted house, trick or treating and scary movie showings. On Halloween, there will be kid’s spooky crafting, a live DJ, a freaky food eating contest and a kids costume contest.

This family-friendly event at League City Community Center will feature classes and exhibits on sustainability, as well as chalk art demonstrations, vendors, crafts, a yard sale, free trees and prizes for participating in green bingo.

This two-day event from the city of League City takes place at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center and gives local businesses and organizations the chance to connect with veterans and their families. It features historical wartime artifacts, a panel discussion from veterans of several wars, free lunch from Smokin Revolver BBQ and two screenings of “Hell or High Seas.”

Multiple wineries from Sonoma County will provide wine samples at this festival at Kemah Boardwalk. The event features 72 wine samples, a free wine glass, giveaways from vendors, live music and small bites from six restaurants, including Landry’s Seafood, Flying Dutchman and Saltgrass Steakhouse.

Held at the Galveston Island Convention Center, this event from the University of Texas Medical Branch, or UTMB, will help support the undergraduate honors program at the UTMB School of Nursing. Those interested in attending can purchase a range of options, from individual tickets to different levels of sponsorships for multiple guests.
