Mommy & Me Painting with Rapunzel
Special guest Rapunzel will be at The Learning Zoo to paint with children. The event will also feature a petting zoo, tortoise grazing gardens and a reptile house.
League City residents can come to the historic League Park for a family-friendly music event, which highlights musicians from all genres. Attendees are welcome to bring a chair, food and drinks.
This 2-mile walk at LaCenterra Cinco Ranch raises funds to further the care, research and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Registration is free, but event organizers ask participants to make a personal donation to the cause. Each walker who raises a minimum $100 will receive a T-shirt.
The city of Tomball’s GroovFest at Depot Plaza returns with entertainment, photo opportunities, vintage Volkswagens, live music and vendors with merchandise, crafts, food and sweet treats.
Northside Festival at the University of Houston-Downtown
Greater Northside Management District is holding its third annual Northside Festival featuring a musical performance by recording artist Leslie Lugo, activities for kids and adults, an art market curated by Shop Local Market and a salsa contest. In addition there will be complimentary beverages in the Saint Arnold Beer Garden.
During the Arts in the Park event at Rob Fleming Park, attendees can enjoy a live "Hamlet" performance by the Points North Theatre Company and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra Brass and Percussion. The event will also feature children's arts and crafts, face painting, local vendors, entertainers, and a Renaissance-themed youth and adult costume contests.

Tomball Little Woodrow's is inviting the community to its Oktoberfest featuring a celebration of German culture with traditional beer, brats and polka music. There will also be activities such as corn hole and turtle races.
Located in Bellaire Town Square, this food festival provides unlimited food and drink samplings, live entertainment and cooking demonstrations. Proceeds benefit the Bellaire Police & Fire Foundation.

Chefs for Farmers
This two-day food and wine festival returns to Autry Park with a street food-style feast with unlimited bites and cocktails. A main event allows Houston’s top chefs to compete to win Best Bite.
Attendees can visit Kemah Boardwalk for a night of live music and dancing. Entertainment includes Houston Salsa Band, Salsa Dance Music and Grupo Latitude.
Typhoon Texas is opening its water park to kid-friendly dogs and their handlers. All breeds are invited to for waterpark attractions along with contests including costume, best tricks, best jumps into the wave pool, and best retrieving from the wave pool’s zero-depth area.
