Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Texas Renaissance Festival season. Known as the largest Renaissance festival in the U.S., this season will feature even more special festivities as the festival marks its 50th anniversary, according to an April 15 news release.

Located in Todd Mission, the 55-acre property is transformed into a 16th-century European village each fall. Activities are available for attendees of all ages, including:

  • 400 artisans and shops

  • Rides
  • Bards
  • Acrobats
  • Restaurants
  • Pub crawls
  • The King’s Feast

This year’s festival will take place Oct. 12-Dec. 1, and more than 500,000 visitors are expected to attend over the eight themed weekends.
  • Oct. 12-13: Oktoberfest
  • Oct. 19-20: 1001 Dreams
  • Oct. 26-27: All Hallow’s Eve
  • Nov. 2-3: Pirate Adventure
  • Nov. 9-10: Heroes & Villains
  • Nov. 16-17: Barbarian Weekend

Texas Renaissance Festival offers discounted opening weekend admission at $20 on Saturday and $14 on Sunday. Prices vary by weekend.

Children age 5 and under get in free every Saturday, and children age 12 and under get in free every Sunday. Veterans, active-duty military and first responders are offered discounted admission every Sunday.


Other special packages include:
  • Weekend pass: Saturday and Sunday admission for the same weekend
  • Stay-and-play pass: full weekend admission plus a Thursday-Monday camping pass for the same weekend
  • Season pass: admission to all 17 days of the 2024 festival season
