What would your top priorities be if elected?
My top priorities would be to address affordability for working families by tackling rising energy and housing costs, fully funding our public schools and giving our teachers and staff the pay increase and benefits they deserve, and expand affordable healthcare access.
If elected, what will your priorities be for the future of Texas education?
We must fully fund and invest in our public schools. I would repeal vouchers, increase per student allotment and base it on enrollment, raise pay and improve benefits for teachers and staff, uphold the separation of church and state in classrooms, and expand career and technical education.
If elected, what will your priorities be regarding property taxes and housing affordability?
These skyrocketing costs are pricing working class families out of homes even when they already own them. I will focus on expanding targeted homestead exemptions, ensure state insurance options like [Texas Windstorm Insurance Association] are fully funded, and strengthen insurance rate oversight and consumer protections.
What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?
Projects like flood mitigation and investment in public education are important for our district’s future. However, we cannot make any progress in legislation without access to the ballot. I will focus on repealing voter suppression laws, strengthening voting access and requiring redistricting to be drawn by a nonpartisan third party.

What would your top priorities be if elected?
My top priorities are implementing my Texas Medicare for all plan, fixing our education system, investing in infrastructure and our rural towns. I want to tackle a Texas economy that has left the average Texan behind with increasing prices on all fronts.
If elected, what will your priorities be for the future of Texas education?
Create a permanent fund from the state budget to fund public schools, increase teacher pensions, repeal the law banning teachers unions from being able to strike, repealing the voucher and charter school program that drains an already stressed education fund and increasing teacher pay.
If elected, what will your priorities be regarding property taxes and housing affordability?
Through creating the permanent school fund, this breaks the cycle of property taxes increasing to cover school budget shortfalls. I also plan to end hedgefund and private equity ownership of single family homes that is artificially inflating property values and pricing people out of their homes.
What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?
Texas Medicare for all, constitutional reform, expanding voting rights, addressing the property tax and housing crises and focusing on affordability for everyday Texans.
