Clear Creek ISD officials reviewed results of a mid-year accountability survey relayed to parents, guardians and staff members at the board of trustees’ March 10 workshop.

The overview

The report asked parents and staff members if:
  • They believed students received a high-quality education at CCISD
  • Teachers are receiving the student behavior support and training needed
  • The new district communications app, connectCCISD, provided effective communication
The survey received just over 4,200 responses, with over 2,700 parents and guardians as well as over 1,500 teachers responding, district officials said.

CCISD's goal was to increase the perception of a quality education from 87% to 90% on the performance survey.

The results showed 2% growth compared to the 2024 survey, but was just under the goal of 90%, according to the presentation.
What else?

CCISD officials said another district goal was to receive teacher satisfaction in student behavior support.

Based on survey results, a majority of teachers said they believe they receive support from the district to address student behavior.
One last thing

District officials also reviewed the implementation of a unified communication platform for parents and staff.

The district launched connectCCISD in August, as previously reported by Community Impact.

The app was designed to keep parents, guardians and staff informed at both the district and campus levels, according to CCISD’s website. Parents and guardians have access to:
  • Up-to-date CCISD news, announcements and emergency notifications
  • Upcoming events
  • App notifications of all district, school and classroom communications
  • Photos and videos posted by the campus
  • Complete forms online and sign permission slips
  • View the school calendar and RSVP for events
  • Sign up for volunteer opportunities and/or bring items
  • Receive attendance notices
Based on survey results, a large number of parents, guardians and staff said they believed the new app was effective in district communication.
