CCISD’s board of trustees approved nearly $1.2 million in contract renewals at its Jan. 27 meeting, according to district agenda documents.

The contracts were related to emergency software, environmental preventative maintenance, live studio production, and fleet maintenance, service and repair, documents show.

What’s happening?

The school visitor, volunteer and emergency management software contract with software company Raptor Technologies and screening service JD Palatine amounts to $135,000, district documents note.

The contract, which will begin Feb. 1 and last through Jan. 31, 2026, provides software to badge school visitors and management tools for volunteers. The contract will also serve to help the district in crisis management, according to district documents.


The environmental preventative maintenance contract with industrial equipment supplier Bud Griffin Customer Support amounts to $130,000, but includes an additional $15,000 to replace aging equipment, such as air conditioning units within the server rooms throughout the district, CCISD documents note.

The contract, which will begin March 1 and last through Feb. 28, 2026, will also provide quarterly inspections and preventative maintenance to AC units at CCISD.

What else?

CCISD’s board of trustees also approved a $200,000 contract for live studio production support and maintenance.


The contract is through audio visual consultant Broadcast Technical Services, audio visual equipment supplier Bluum USA and event production company Southern Sound Systems, according to district documents.

The contract will provide maintenance, support and other replacement for the district’s Career Technical Education equipment across the department’s studios. It will also provide audiovisual classroom equipment, maintenance, replacement and on-site support for special events, according to district documents.

The contract will begin Feb. 1 and last through Jan. 31, 2026, district documents note.

The last contract approved by the board was for fleet maintenance, service and repair for $700,000.


The contract was awarded to multiple vendors, and will begin Feb. 1 through Jan. 25, 2026, according to district documents.
