The CCEF aims to fund innovative projects that impact student learning through its grant program, according to the release.
“Hats off to our teachers this year who took the extra time to submit some truly innovative programs for our students. It’s going to be an exciting year to see the results of these grants,” Executive Director Deborah Laine said in the release.
Grant funding was used to obtain ukuleles for Bayside Intermediate, a Powermatic industrial planer for Clear Creek High School and a trauma-sensitive reset room for Clear Path High School, among other items.
“The support of the Clear Creek Education Foundation and our community is fundamental to our students' success, given today’s needs for industry readiness from the next generation! To be able to give back to this community with the help of CCEF, we are that much closer to furthering the success of all our students!” grant recipient and Clear Creek High School teacher Stephen Hilliard stated in the release.
