Spring 2022 average State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness results show Clear Creek ISD students in grades 3-8 improved on spring 2021 results and scored higher than state averages across the board.
In nearly all of the grades 3-8 STAAR categories, including reading, math, science and social studies, CCISD students improved upon the scores from the previous year’s averages in the “approaches grade level” category. The only two categories in which the spring 2022 average was lower than the spring 2021 average was in fifth grade science and eighth grade social studies.

Possible performance levels on these exams include: did not meet grade level, approaches grade level and above, meets grade level and above, and masters grade level.

Some categories saw large improvements year over year, including fourth grade reading, which saw a 12 percentage point increase over the previous year, and eighth grade math, which saw a nine-point increase. Eighth grade reading, third grade math and fourth grade math all saw eight percentage point improvements year over year.

CCISD average grades 3-8 STAAR results were higher than state averages in every category.
