Clear Creek ISD Superintendent Greg Smith fared well in his latest performance evaluation, earning a 5% raise, according information gathered from a Community Impact Newspaper records request.

According to the record, Smith now earns $300,580.43 annually, effective July 1. The CCISD board of trustees approved Smith's amended contract, including the raise, at its Oct. 28 meeting.

Smith's previous salary was $286,267.08. The raise totaled $14,313.35, according to the record.

Community Impact Newspaper also requested details on Smith's performance evaluation, but the district denied releasing the records under Texas Education Code 21.355, which suggests documents evaluating a teacher's or administrator's performance are not subject to disclosure, according to the district.
