Houston Restaurant Weeks, the city's largest annual fundraiser of its kind, is back this year with over 200 restaurants expected to participate. Seven of those are in the Bay Area.

From Aug. 1 through Sept. 6, these eateries will have special menus with a portion of profits from each meal being donated to the Houston Food Bank. The fundraiser has garnered more than $16 million on contributions to the food bank since its founding in 2003 while also supporting local businesses, per the Houston Restaurant Weeks website.

Additional participating restaurants will be added to the Houston Restaurant Weeks website through Aug. 1, officials said. Each participant puts together specially priced, multicourse prix fixe menus, including brunch, lunch and dinner. Meals are available for dine-in and takeout.
