The Bay Area has seen general growth in categories such as population, income and employment, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey’s data results when compared to the 2016 American Community Survey.

League City had a substantial increase of 17.76% of its population from 2016-21, according to ACS data. Whereas smaller communities in the area varied like Seabrook with a 3.44% population increase and Clear Lake Shores where the population decreased by 20.71%.
League City’s median household income increased by 17.76% from 2016-21, while Texas saw an increase of 23.01%. Seabrook’s median household income increase was under the state’s at 12.03%, as was Clear Lake Shores, where the median household income increased by 5.13%.
