Several months after closing down in Alvin, Alvin Antique Center and Marketplace reopened in Webster under the new name East Bay Emporium, owner Gayle Gust confirmed.

Similar to its old shop in Alvin, which had been open for 27 years prior to closing down in February, East Bay Emporium is a retail antique shop that will feature more than 100 dealers, Gust said.

The shop opened on Oct. 1, according to social media posts from the business.

Some of those items include antiques, glassware, pottery, pop culture memorabilia and other vintage items, according to the business’ website.

As part of the opening, the shop will have a Christmas sale going on through the end of the year, Gust said.
