McCoy's Building Supply in League City celebrated its grand opening between May 2 and 4, according to a social media post. The opening follows the business's year-long, $4 million investment in renovations, which included new concrete for the parking lot and lumbar yard, reskinning the building's exterior, adding new restrooms and polishing the floors, store manager Laura Tafoya said.

The store also added 8,000 new items for sale, including pole accessories, pet supplies and extending its cleaning and home maintenance offerings, Tafoya said. The store also now offers free local delivery within 35 miles of the store.

"We made it more friendly for consumers and DIY customers while also serving our contractor customers," Tafoya said.

The retail store offers a full-service lumberyard and a variety of other supplies geared toward DIY, farmers, ranchers, repair and remodel contractors, and independent homebuilders.
