Fiona Bakery, which specialized in custom wedding, birthday and special event cakes, cookies and cake balls, has come under new ownership.

What's different?

Husband-and-wife team Josh and Jean DeLeon, who own The Box Bakery, bought the League City bakery in November. The store's name has been changed to The Box Bakery League City, Jean DeLeon said.

In addition to custom cake orders, The Box Bakery League City will now provide a variety of products for walk-in customers to build more traffic, Jean DeLeon said—including keto desserts.

Something to note


Despite the new ownership, the bakery employs the same staff and cake decorators, the owner said.

The Box Bakery also has an established location in Pearland. The menu there includes breakfast platters, as well as sandwiches, tacos and salads.
