Chevron acquires 77 acres in Bridgeland Central

Officials with Chevron have purchased 77 acres of land in Bridgeland Central, a 925-acre mixed-use project near the Grand Parkway in Cypress. Daniel Abate, Chevron’s head of corporate real estate, said plans include a research and development campus “to advance our work toward achieving a lower carbon energy future.”

Shopping from head to toe: 4 retailers coming soon to Katy Mills mall


In addition to eatery Stacks opening in June and the anticipation of Slick City, the waterless indoor slide park, Katy Mills Mall will welcome four businesses this fall that sell makeup, shoes and clothing, officials said.

Conroe’s new downtown manager discusses his role, what’s coming up for the city

Harris County voters to decide on $2.5B bond for hospital, clinic expansions

In November, Harris County voters will have to decide whether to fund a $2.5 billion expansion of the Harris Health System over the next 10 years in a move that could expand health care access for more than 1 million uninsured residents.
