Ongoing work on Plano Road involves repairing broken pavement along a roughly 5-mile stretch between Buckingham Road and President George Bush Turnpike.
Various lane closures will be in place as work progresses. Repairs are now complete between Renner Road and Lookout Drive and between Collins Boulevard and Apollo Road. The contractor is currently working between Lookout and Collins. Work in this area is anticipated to be complete by mid-November, at which time repairs will begin between Apollo and Buckingham, city officials say.
The $1 million project, funded by the city of Richardson, began in May and is expected to wrap up in February.
