Richardson drivers can expect delays on southbound Greenville Avenue near Main Street and West Shore Drive between Arapaho and Campbell Roads as road work begins, according to a news release issued by the city.

The details

West Shore Drive may be narrowed to one lane at four locations between Arapaho Road and Campbell Road as soil samples will be taken for Richardson utilities. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. Areas include:
  • Arapaho Road to Wisteria Way
  • Wateka Way to Warren Way
  • Melrose Drive to Fontana Avenue
  • Brentwood Lane to Kingswood Avenue
Work is expected to be completed in late May.

What else?

The right lane of southbound Greenville Avenue between Main Street and Polk Street may be closed to traffic for fiber optic work. Additionally, westbound Polk Street between Greenville Avenue and McKinney Street may be narrowed as well.


Work is expected to finish up in late June.
