A new Richardson-based nonprofit is offering grief support for parents.

While it does not have a physical address, Lambie’s Love is open and officially received 501(c)(3) status March 28, founder Jamie Farrar said.

The organization offers local resources for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Additionally, Lambie’s Love provides curated bereavement boxes to neonatal intensive care units throughout North Texas that offer support to grieving families.

Farrar said the nonprofit offers support online and in-person, and events are being planned that will allow families to come together to celebrate, honor and remember their children.

“We try to be intentional with everything we do and really think about ... how we can truly honor as many children and families as possible,” Farrar said. “Whenever we donate a bereavement box, we will always do it in honor of a child who has passed.”
