Richardson’s Soccer Spectrum is expanding its outdoor space later this year. The soccer field facility is located at 1251 Digital Drive in Richardson. Facilities being added in the expansion include a new exterior canopy, an expanded patio space and improvements on the outdoor soccer field. The interior bar is also expected to be remodeled as part of the renovations.
Spectrum Soccer is one of the oldest indoor soccer facilities in North Texas, established in 1986 by the Mungioli family. Executive Director Sharon Stringfellow said the expansion has been planned since new ownership bought the company last year.
Stringfellow said construction is expected to begin soon and will last 3-4 months. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the construction is expected to cost $1.3 million.
