Construction began in April on the 16,000-square-foot outdoor dining and entertainment plaza, which is located between Dog Haus Biergarten and the planned space for Dave’s Hot Chicken.
The beer garden was approved by Richardson City Council during its Oct. 11 meeting.
Kirk Hermansen, developer of the restaurant park, said the area will include picnic tables, a bar, a firepit with seating, cabanas, space for live music or movie screenings, a game court and space for a food truck, among other amenities.
The Richardson Restaurant Park, located near the intersection of Spring Valley Road and US 75, was approved by council in 2014. The park includes restaurants such as Adda and Pokeworks. Eiland Coffee Roasters and Dave’s Hot Chicken are also planning to open in the restaurant park this year. www.instagram.com/hermansenlanddevelopment/
