Dunkin' will offer free coffee Jan. 18 in honor of the store's first day of operation at 1225 E. Belt Line Road, Richardson. Guests will have the chance to get a free, medium-sized hot or iced coffee throughout the day. In addition to coffee and doughnuts, the nationwide chain offers bagels and all-day breakfast sandwiches.

The new Richardson Dunkin' will be a next-generation restaurant for the chain, according to a news release. Elements of the new location include increased energy efficiency; a double-lane drive-thru; a mobile order pickup area; and a tap system for Dunkin's signature cold beverages, such as the next-generation restaurant-exclusive nitro-infused cold brew.

Dunkin' is planning an official grand opening celebration for the new store in February. The 1,200-square-foot restaurant will employ around 20 crew members, according to the news release, and it will open daily at 5 a.m. There are more than 170 Dunkin’ restaurants in Texas, according to a company press release.
