Starbucks opened a new location at 205 S. Plano Road, Ste. 100, in Richardson on Jan. 18. The Seattle-based coffee company’s new location is in the Richardson Square development in front of the former Sears store. The newly constructed location offers a drive-thru window as well as mobile ordering and in-store options. www.starbucks.com

Richardson staff quantifies local power outages, water usage during winter storm

Controlled outages began in the early hours of Monday, Feb. 15 and continued through mid-day Thursday. They peaked at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, when nearly 17,500 residents were without electricity.
