Several services and facilities in Richardson will not be available in observance of the 4th of July, the city said in a news release.

The overview

Richardson residents will not have trash, bulk item or recycling collection service on Friday, July 4, according to the press release. Recycling services scheduled for July 3 will be collected July 2, and recycling collection for July 4 will be collected July 3. Trash and bulk item collection does not have a scheduled make-up day, the release states.

The Canyon Creek and Glenville Pools will remain open from 1-5 p.m. July 4, the Terrace pool will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and the Heights Family Aquatic Center will be open from noon to 5 p.m. The Tennis Center will remain open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Eisemann Center
  • Gymnastics Center (Closed July 4-5)
