Several Richardson facilities will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Nov. 28, according to a news release issued by the city.

The overview

Richardson residents will have no trash and bulk collections Nov. 28 and Nov. 29. Additionally, there are no makeup dates currently scheduled. Per the release, regularly scheduled trash and bulk collection will resume Dec. 2.

Recycling services scheduled for Nov. 28 will be collected Nov. 27 and pickup for Nov. 29 will be collected Nov. 30.

The animal shelter, library, senior center, Huffhines and Heights recreation centers will all close at 5 p.m. Nov. 27. Both recreation centers will reopen Nov. 29 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The Gymnastics center will be closed from Nov. 27-30.

  • Richardson Public Library

  • Richardson Municipal Court
  • Richardson IQHQ
  • Richardson Service Center
The Eisemann Center, Sherrill Park Golf Course and Tennis Center will be closed Nov. 28 but reopen Nov. 29.
