According to a news release, the disaster recovery center operating out of the Network of Community Ministries building located at 1500 International Parkway, Ste. 300 is closed after 6 p.m. July 25.
What you need to know
Disaster recovery centers allow individuals to assist with applying for disaster recovery aid or ask questions about a specific case. Despite the Richardson site closing, individuals can still visit other centers still open, including one in Mesquite.
The closure does not affect the deadline to apply for assistance for severe weather from May 28-June 5, which is Aug. 15.
