Trash and recycling pickup in Richardson will also be impacted because of the Sept. 4 holiday. All trash, recycling, and brush and bulky item collection will not occur Sept. 4 with trash and bulk service resuming Sept. 5.
No makeup days for trash pickup missed Sept. 4 are scheduled. Recycling pickup Sept. 4-5 will be pushed back one day, according to the news release.

- Richardson Animal Shelter
- Charles W. Eisemann Center
- Gymnastics Center, Huffhines and Heights recreation centers, and Richardson Senior Center
- Richardson Public Library
- Richardson Municipal Court
- Richardson Innovation Quarter Headquarters and the Service Center
- Sherrill Park Golf Course
- Heights Family Aquatic Center from noon-8 p.m.
- Tennis Center from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
