Some city services put on pause
Recycling, solid waste, and bulky item pickup service will not be provided Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; Christmas day, Dec. 25; and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1. There will be no trash collection or bulky item pickup makeup days. Recycling makeup days will be Dec. 26 for Christmas Eve; Dec. 27 for Dec. 26; Dec. 28 for Dec. 26; and Dec. 28 for Dec. 27, according to the city.
Holiday schedule for city facilities
City Hall/Civic Center, Municipal Court: Closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
Eisemann Center: Administration offices closed Dec. 24; entire center closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Recreation centers, Senior Center and Tennis Center: Close at 5 p.m. Dec. 23 and Dec. 31. Closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
Gymnastics Center: Closed Dec. 24-25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
Library and Animal Shelter: Closes at 5 p.m. Dec. 23 and Dec. 31. Closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
Sherrill Park Golf Course: Closed Dec. 25.
