Hong Kong dessert shop Hui Lau Shan is coming soon to Richardson East Shopping Center.

What started as an herbal tea trolley in Hong Kong in the 1960s turned into a global chain, according to its website. Hui Lau Shan offers handmade mango desserts, prepared fresh every day, as well as fruit-based drinks and other sweets like mochi and coconut jelly.

Construction is estimated to be completed in June, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation documents. This will be the second Hui Lau Shan location in Dallas, after a Carrollton location opened in 2024.
