Upcoming
1. US 377 median landscape development
Project: Median landscaping is planned in Roanoke on US 377 from Denton Street to north of SH 114. The work will feature trees, shrubs, groundcover and irrigation.
Update: Roanoke City Council awarded the bid to Central North Construction, LLC, in its Aug. 11 meeting. The Texas Department of Transportation Green Ribbon Grant project is federally and state funded for the purpose of improving highway medians.

2. Litsey Road repairs
Project: Areas of Litsey Road in Roanoke, primarily between Byron Nelson Boulevard and Fairway Ranch Parkway, will be under construction for concrete street repairs on both the eastbound and westbound lanes.
Update: Once construction starts, workers will cut and demolish existing concrete to drill holes, install dowels and pour new concrete over a reinforced steel mat. Roanoke City Council awarded the bid to DFW Concrete Pros in its Sept. 8 meeting.
3. Keller Middle School sidewalk additions
Project: Nearly 10,000 square feet of sidewalk is being added to the neighborhoods around Keller Middle School on Charles, Lorine, Ruby, Pearl, Minnie and North Elm streets. The sidewalk additions and expansions will create more pedestrian routes in that area, according to a city of Keller social media post.
Update: The project started at the end of July and was scheduled to be completed by the end of September, according to the city of Keller’s Instagram. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing from May has a later completion date of Dec. 30.
4. Bonds Ranch Road expansion
Project: Workers are expanding Bonds Ranch Road to a four-lane road from Wagley Robertson Road to the Fossil Springs Drive/Kittering Terrace intersection. The expansion will include street lights, shared-use paths, intersection and drainage improvements and a new traffic signal at the Fossil Springs Drive/Kittering Terrace intersection, according to project records.
Update: Bonds Ranch Road at Blue Mound Road, which is the sixth segment of the project, reopened in the first week of October, according to District 10 Councilmember Chris Jamieson’s Facebook post. The expansion near Wagley Robertson Road is part of a larger Bonds Ranch Road corridor improvements project with six total segments.

5. North Tarrant Express highway expansion
Project: The expansion began along the SH 121/183 split and Hwy. 820 corridors to add a free lane between Fort Worth and North Richland Hills in each direction along Loop Interstate 820, which connects with I-35W, according to previous reporting. One TEXpress-managed lane was added along each direction of Airport Freeway between North Richland Hills and Euless. In total, 10 miles were added to the interstate and freeway.
Update: The expansion was originally scheduled to be completed in early 2027 but was finished ahead of schedule, according to a TEXpress release.
6. Repaving Willis Lane
Project: A stretch of Willis Lane between North Tarrant Parkway and Bursey Road was repaved and repainted ahead of the first day of school for Indian Springs Middle School and the Keller Center for Advanced Learning, according to a city of Keller Facebook post.
Update: Willis Lane’s repavement was the last of the eight roadwork projects outlined in Keller’s street maintenance package in partnership with Tarrant County Precinct 3 Commissioner Matt Krause.
