Over the course of 2023, a number of new coffee shops have come to call the city of Richardson home.

During the year, seven coffee shops opened in the city serving specialty drinks ranging from boba tea to caffeinated Middle Eastern-style brews. As the city’s demographics continue to change, the regional specialties of these new beverage shops reflects that with businesses offering up styles hailing from places such as Yemen, Morocco and Taiwan.
