Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is now open in Richardson.
The restaurant, located at 1445 E. Belt Line Road, opened July 27, a company representative said.
The Louisiana-inspired restaurant serves several fried chicken options with Cajun flavoring, including chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, biscuits and sides.

2. The Burger Shop
The Burger Shop, located at 101 S. Coit Road, Ste. 1, opened in its second North Texas location July 10.
A company spokesperson said a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for early August. The restaurant, which also has a location in Forney, offers a variety of American cuisine, such as burgers, sandwiches and wings.

3. La Casita Bakeshop
La Casita Bakeshop is now open on certain weekdays.
According to a company representative, the bakery, located at 580 W. Arapaho Road, Ste. 154, expanded its operating hours to include weekdays July 12. The shop is now open Wednesday-Friday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. La Casita serves coffee, pastries and other baked goods.
