Collin County health officials reported 28 new cases of coronavirus May 27.

There are 315 active cases in the county. The total number of positive tests is now 1,217, with 869 recoveries.

Of the active cases in the county, 22 are hospitalized, and 293 remain in home isolation, according to the report.

In Richardson, there are 5 active Collin County cases, with zero hospitalizations.

There have been 22 cases from Richardson reported by the county. 16 of those have recovered.


There have been 16,146 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 2,147 people being monitored for the virus.

Collin County has reported 33 deaths of people who had tested positive for coronavirus, with one Richardson death.
