Collin County health officials reported 17 new positive cases of coronavirus May 20.

The county now has 319 active cases, and there have been 1,090 total cases reported.

The number of recovered cases went up by 12 since the day before, totaling 740 as of May 20. Of the active cases, 11 are hospitalized and 308 remain in home isolation.

Richardson has 4 active cases among its residents, with 20 total cases reported since early March. Officials report 16 residents have recovered.

There have been 14,685 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 1,854 people being monitored for the virus, according to the county.


The county has reported 31 people who had tested positive for coronavirus have died, with no deaths in Richardson.
