Cosmetics company Naturich Labs has outgrown its space in Garland and is planning to relocate to Richardson. The business specializes in personal care products made from organic materials, according to city documents.
City Council members unanimously approved a zoning change March 18 that will allow Naturich Labs to build a 101,174-square-foot headquarters on a 9-acre undeveloped site at the southwest corner of Research Drive and Telecom Parkway. The facility will include a warehouse, office space and manufacturing operations.
Plans for a second phase of development have not been determined; however, Naturich President and founder Prakash Purohit said the remaining 3 acres of land may also be used for warehousing.
The business will bring with it 75 employees, but the added space will allow for the hiring of 25 more people, Purohit said.
