What drew you to this role, and what excites you most about leading the Richardson Chamber of Commerce?
I am excited about the amazing programs that the Richardson Chamber of Commerce offers its business community. Businesses rely on the programs, resources, and connections that Chamber membership provides, and Richardson has a great variety of all three.
What are your top priorities for the Chamber in your first year?
My top priorities include meeting with a variety of Chamber and community leaders and working with our team to learn about the Chamber and the Richardson community. This will help me understand where we’re thriving and where there may be room for new ideas.
How do you plan to build on the Chamber’s existing strengths while also bringing in fresh ideas?
I plan to build on the Chamber’s existing strengths by engaging with the community and understanding their needs. By working together and fostering a strong sense of belonging among our members, we can introduce new ideas that complement our current offerings.
How does the Chamber plan to attract new businesses and industries to Richardson?
The Chamber plans to attract new businesses and industries by leveraging our strong sense of community and support. Through our programming and outreach, we aim to showcase Richardson as a vibrant and welcoming place for businesses to thrive.
As a new leader in Richardson, what’s your message to the business community?
My message to the business community is that the success of the Chamber is dependent on the success of our members. This isn’t about me; it’s about our members. I am committed to being a good steward of their investment and providing value through our programs and initiatives.
How can local businesses and residents engage with the Chamber and support its mission?
Local businesses and residents can engage with the Chamber by participating in our programs, attending events, and providing feedback. By staying involved and sharing their insights, they can help us continue to provide valuable resources and support for the community.
