Happy Hippie Brewing Company has closed in Richardson.

The brewery and taproom primarily brewed Belgian-style beer but also offered India pale ales, pale ales and milk stouts. It also offered live music and regular open mic nights to the community. The brewery is one of several businesses to close in the area. Others include Monkey King and Greenville Avenue Pizza Company.

“We are deeply saddened to announce that Happy Hippie Brewing Company will be closing its doors,” a post from the company's social media said. “This was not an easy decision, but it’s one we had to make.”
