Regional outdoor goods retailer Half-Moon Outfitters has opened the doors at its Richardson store.

The store sells a variety of boutique goods used for kayaking, rock climbing, surfing, travel and backpacking. Half-Moon Outfitters’ Richardson store, located in the Pavilion East Shopping Center is the chain’s first in Texas.

The business has a presence in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, which was where the first store was founded in 1993.
