Lake Pointe Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine plans to open a new location in Richardson at 1231 E. Belt Line Road, right behind the Dunkin store. The orthopedics office will have four orthopedic surgeons at this location: Kurt Johnson, Joel Zarling, Daniel Weido and Jonathan Boyle.

The new location is expected to open by February 2023. Ownership said the Belt Line Road office will replace its previous Richardson location, which was at 3617 Shire Blvd., Ste. 100.
