British Emporium in Richardson closed Jan. 11. The British-goods store, located at 400 N. Coit Road, Ste. 1908, had been in operation since 2020. It opened as a partnership between its original Grapevine location and Richardson-based British restaurant Fish & Fizz, which also recently closed.

British Emporium offered traditional British foods, such as brandy butter, mince pies and crackers. The original British Emporium, which has been open for over 30 years, will continue to remain open, according to a Facebook post. www.british-emporium.com
