All municipal offices in Plano will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
- The city of Plano is offering pet adoption specials now through Nov. 27 at its animal shelter, located at 4028 W. Plano Parkway. This week, individuals may adopt an adult shelter dog or cat for $40 (regular price $80) or a VIP animal for $20 (regular price $40). Puppies and kittens 4 months old and younger can get a new home for $80. Pricing includes spay or neuter surgery, the first set of vaccinations and microchipping. - The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission meets Monday at 7 p.m. at Plano Municipal Center, 1520 K Ave. View current and past agendas here.
